Ralph Lauren Oxford Shirt Review: DHgate Find vs. Retail Comparison

If you are looking to elevate your smart-casual wardrobe without paying high-street prices, classic Oxford shirts are an absolute essential. I recently picked up a navy Ralph Lauren button-down from DHgate seller shenjianli to test out the quality, fit, and how it stacks up against the real deal.

When ordering rep button-downs, sizing can always be a bit of a gamble, but going with the XL turned out to be a solid choice for my build. As you can see from the fit pics, it gives a comfortable, relaxed silhouette across the chest and shoulders without looking overly baggy or restrictive.

Quality & Details

For £23 delivered, the overall construction is surprisingly clean. The fabric has that classic heavyweight, textured Oxford cotton feel rather than a cheap, thin synthetic blend.

The Pony Logo: The embroidery is neat, capturing the classic polo player proportions cleanly.

Hardware & Tags: The interior neck tags and branded buttons are all well-executed and mimic retail presentation closely.

Rep vs. Retail Comparison

The Verdict: Looking closely at the embroidery and stitching side-by-side, the seller's stitching density and pony definition hold up remarkably well against retail. Unless someone is holding your chest under a magnifying glass, you'd never be able to tell the difference on the street.
